Presently, people of all ages and social spheres have been gaming in their own household or at friends� homes , schools, or internet cafés. Many games make use of historical elements as a background setting on which gaming strategies are developed, such as in Age of Empires. As historical meta-narratives, they bring to public, and contribute to maintaining, the meanings of topics related to historical knowledge.
