Of bright steel, it is of great weight and intended for use in the tilt-yard, movable heavily roped gussets and two splints at base, with single tace-plate; the surface is enriched with bands of beautifully enrouted running ornament and the main panels etched with the crucifixion and a kneeling knight in the manner of Virgil Solis of Nuremberg.
