Of bright steel, consisting of an armet with large falling below-type visor, the skull finely formed and furnished with a bold roped comb, gorget-plate, globoss breast-plate fluted to the breast, tace of four lames, laminated tassets, cuisses, jambs and splayed toed sollerets; the arm defences have finely moulded wing protectors at the elbow joints, and mitten gauntlets. A pair of pallets or rondels attached at the shoulders do not belong to the suit.
