Remuneration can increase employee motivation in improving its performance, this is related to the provision of remuneration as a magnet for employees to work well and well. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of remuneration and improvement of employee support polytechnic ATI Padang. This study uses a type of quantitative research and the data used are primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents from the Padang Polytechnic as many as 78 respondents. The results of the study show that remuneration has a positive impact on employee performance, positive motivation on employee performance and remuneration, motivation together increases positively on employee performance</i
