A dehesa is characterised by its woodland. Absence of the regeneration of woodland is a long-term sustainability problem for this ecosystem. That is why it is necessary to take measures to allow woodland restoration and when there is regeneration, to identify whether it is in a damaged or viable state, in order to determine if any support action is required. In cases where there is little or no regeneration, different action has to be taken: soil treatment, different types of protection, planting and sowing, and fencing. Trimming is also a good tool to promote the development of a balanced woodland. Keywords:Dehesa, woodland, restoration, regenerationTítulo: Actuaciones para el fomento de la biodiversidad en l...
