The aim of the graduation thesis is to analyze the diagnostic and treatment methods of cat hyperthyroidism and the incidence of morbidity in large Lithuanian veterinary clinics. The data were analyzed by interviewing the largest Lithuanian veterinary clinics, analyzed the history of the disease in 32 cases of hyperthyroidism. Out of the 23 largest Lithuanian veterinary clinics surveyed, 19 diagnosed hyperthyroidism in cats. The most commonly used diagnostic methods were a general clinical trial (always performed), serum thyroxine levels (83% of clinics), thyroid palpation (56% of the clinics surveyed). The number of cases of hyperthyroidism in cats diagnosed depends on the frequency of the diagnostic tests performed in the clinic (p <0.05)....
