[EN] International competitiveness of virgin olive oil. This article analyzes the main exporting countries of olive oil at the international level. Spain occupies a privileged place followed by Italy, Tunisia, Greece and Portugal. The three main consumer markets are Europe (led by Spain), the United States (led by Italy) and Brazil (led by Portugal). In the Mediterranean Basin, Tunisia focuses on shipping to Spain and Italy. Potential but low volume today are Morocco, Turkey and Palestine.
