UPAYA OKI DALAM PENOLAKAN PENETAPAN AS ATAS STATUS YERUSALEM PADA SIDANG PBB

US determination of the status of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel had been criticized and protested by international community especially by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states. This research aimed to describe the efforts done by the OIC in rejecting the determination of the status of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel at the UN General Assembly. This research used soft balancing approach by Robert Pape. It means by applying a diplomacy approach to balance the US acts. In this reseach, the strategy applying are Signal of resolve to balance and Entagling Diplomacy. With the balancing efforts carried out by the OIC, the results of the UN General Assembly stated that the determination of the US on the status of Jerusalem was an illegal provision and did not receive support from the international community
