Corporate Higher Education as a Driver of Innovative Development of the Region

The features and innovative potential of corporate higher education are considered in the example of the Technical University of UMMC. A descriptive assessment of the contribution to the regional system of higher corporate education in the socioeconomic development in Sverdlovsk region was conducted. The analysis is based on criteria for assessing the higher education system named OECD. The assessment is carried out on three main criteria: contribution to the economic development of the region; contribution to the development of human capital in the region; contribution to the innovative development of the region. The conclusion is the compliance of corporate higher education not only with the company’s strategy, but also with the state program of education development. The corporate university has a high innovation potential and performs as a driver of the region’s development. The experience of corporate universities is becoming a “point of growth” for the company and the higher school.На примере «Технического университета» УГМК рассматриваются особенности и инновационный потенциал корпоративного высшего образования. Проведена дескриптивная оценка вклада региональной системы высшего корпоративного образования в социально-экономическое развитие Свердловской области. Анализ опирается на критерии оценки системы высшего образования ОЭСР. Оценка проводится по трем основным критериям: вклад в экономическое развитие региона; вклад в развитие человеческого капитала региона; вклад в инновационное развитие региона. Выводом служит соответствие корпоративного высшего образования не только стратегии компании, но и государственной программе развития образования. Корпоративный университет обладает высоким инновационным потенциалом и выступает драйвером развития региона. Опыт корпоративных университетов становится «точкой роста» для компании и высшей школы в целом
