This study, which begins by describing the state of our knowledge about the Laurentianus XXXII 9 (L, from the X century) and about the Parisinus graecus 2712 (A, which I suggest to date by the end of the XIIP1 century), contributes to improve our understanding of the way in which these texts have been transmitted. It shows that the information given in the available editions is incomplete or even inaccurate. It also shows the shortcomings of the widely shared presuppositions about the history of transmission.
