SUMMARY The author, having indicated the main characteristics of town-dwellers' property in the Trégor district (26 parishes belonging to the cantons of Lannion, Tréguier and Perros-Guirec), studies the country property of town- dwellers. He examines in turn the geographical distribution of these country properties (the predominating part played by Paris and the real-estate spread of local towns) and the origins and evolution of town-dwellers' country property. He then studies a second type of town-dwellers' property in the Trégor district, that of holiday residences.
