Effects of dexamethasone pretreatment on chemotherapy-induced cytotoxicity

However, clusterin antisense oligonucleotides (ODNclu) increase chemotherapy-induced cytotoxicity in the presence of dexamethasone. Cells were treated with dexamethasone for 4 hours. After dexamethasone treatment, the medium was replaced in some wells with medium containing 10M paclitaxel or doxorubicin for 1 day. Cell viability was determined by trypan blue exclusion test.
