DSS-induced colitis alters mRNA expression of L-Arg metabolic pathway genes.

<p>7-week-old C57BL/6 mice received 4% DSS in the drinking water or water alone (Ctrl) for 7 days. At sacrifice on day 7, the colon was removed and tissues were obtained for RNA isolation and assessment of gene expression by real-time PCR.
