MED protects mice from LPS-induced endotoxin shock.

BALB/c mice were divided in two groups (n = 10 for each group), one group was only i.p. injected with LPS (10 mg/kg); another group was pre-injected with MED (15 mg/kg) for 30 min before LPS injection. Body temperatures of two groups of mice were measured at different time points. B. Survival rates of mice were examined after LPS administration with or without MED pretreatment. C, D.
