<p>(A,B) LX-2 cells and the isolated primary rat HSCs were treated with increasing concentrations of NPLC0393 for indicated time points. Cells were harvested and the total cell extracts were analyzed by western blotting. (C) LX-2 cells were treated with NPLC0393 for 48 h followed by TGFβ (1ng/ml) stimulation for another 1 h. Effects of NPLC0393 on the nuclear translocation of P-Smad3 were assessed by Immunofluorescence experiment. Images were taken by IN Cell Analyzer 1000 and quantified by counting six random chosen fields in each well.
