<p>Proteins from whole homogenate were resolved by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis and the presence of the markers for each complex was determined by immunoblotting as indicated in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0013900#s4" target="_blank">Material and Methods</a> section. Blots were quantified by densitometry and normalized vs. protein loading determined by membrane staining with red Ponceau. Numbers indicate the mean (n = 5) in arbitrary units normalized vs. AL group as 100. No significant differences were found between groups.</p
