Add to ORKGInspired by Kathe Kollwitz′s iconic etching from the Peasant War series, ″Outbreak from Bauernkrieg,″ this exhibition underscores the human condition. Taking queue from Kollwitz′s print, which depicts the effects of poverty, war and hunger on the working class, curators Emily Brostek and Claudia Preza bring together a group show of contemporary art works that dignify their subjects and depict triumph over oppressive socio-political conditions.
