<p>Cells were treated with genistein (0.5- 50 µmol/L) for 48 h, then apoptosis was examined in LAPC-4 (A) and LNCaP cells (B) by flow cytometry after staining with Annexin-V apoptosis detection kit. Cells treated with genistein for 72 hours were tested for signs of cytotoxicity using the lactate dehydrogenase release assay. Results in the graph represent the mean ± SD of three experiments. *p < 0.05, **p <0.01, for comparisons with the control groups. </p
