<p>B16-F10 cells were cultured with PMJ2R cells for indicated time in the presence of 0.05 mM laminarin-BAM. Free laminarin at the same concentration was used as a control. NF-κB kinase activation was assessed by immunoblotting with antibody specifically recognizing only phosphorylated form. β-actin is shown as a loading control. Two independent experiments were performed. Representative blots are shown (A). In further experiment laminarin-SMCC was covalently bound to B16-F10 cells prior seeding with PMJ2R cells. Intact B16-F10 melanoma cells were used as a control. NF-κB kinase activation was assessed as previously described. Resulting blots are shown (B).
