Energy balance is altered in CD1d^−/− mice following HFD feeding.

<p>WT and CD1d^−/− mice were fed HFD for 20 weeks. Average daily food intake (<b>A</b>), metabolic rate (<b>B</b>) and respiratory quotient (<b>C</b>) were measured in an indirect calorimeter. Physical activity was measured as the number of breaks in infrared beams through the 3-day calorimetry experiment (<b>D, E</b>). Results represent mean ± SEM of 6 mice per group.
