Analisis Psikologi Terhadap Konflik Batin Tokoh Utama Dalam Novel Ayah Karya Andrea Hirata

The purpose is describing the implementation in teaching learning process of Indonesian Language to Senior High School using novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative. The approach used in this research is psychoanalysis. The techniques of data collection in this research are reading, taking note, and referencing.The internal conflicts of the main character included: the emotions of being shy, nervous, anxiety, disappointed, suffered, unwilling to love, doubt, missed, worried, broken, regret, angry, jealous, compassionated, unconditional, afraid, loyal, giving up, panic, confused, unsaid feeling, sad, alone, unhappy, guilty. The external conflicts of the main character included: the emotions of being afraid, being cheated, being unconditional, being broken, being nervous, feeling rejecting, feeling sad,feeling compassionate, feeling worried to hear a warning, news or a behavior from people. The results is hoped to be used by the teachers for teaching material in the school
