Konflik Batin Tokoh Utama dan Struktur Novel Tahajud Cinta di Kota New York Karya Arumi Ekowati: Tinjauan Psikologi Sastra dan Implementasinya dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA

This study aims (1) to identify the forms of inner conflict experienced by the main character; (2) describe the building structure; and (3) describe the implementation of research results for Indonesian learning in high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are in the form of words, phrases, expressions, and sentences contained in the novel Tahajud Cinta in New York City by Arumi Ekowati. In this study researchers used the documentation and note techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods. From the analysis of the study of psychological psychology, conclusions can be drawn as follows. First, the inner conflicts experienced by the main takoh in the novel Tahajud Cinta in New York City by Arumi Ekowat were found in three conflicts, namely: (1) Conflict approaching; (2) Conflict draws back and forth; (3) Conflicts stay away. Second, the building structure includes four elements, namely: (1) Theme; (2) characterizations; (3) flow; and (4) Background.
