CTA contributed towards the production and distribution costs of the Union Catalog of serials in the International Agricultural Research Centers (lARCs) of the world. The two volumes, published by the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), represent a hard copy of a microcomputer-readable database. The objective of the project was to produce a source of information that would facilitate wide and easy access to the relatively rich serials resources of the lARCs for the benefit of users in the National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) of the developing world.
