Teachers and studentes employ the printed textbooks using advance tools but are not always available. Often they have no organizers schemes and search tools; if present they are sometimes inadequate or incomplete. The structure of table of content, conceptual representation of contents, criteria for indexes construction, specialized language treatment, are considered at this contribution.We propose a review to authors and publishers of these issues from the perspective of cognitive psicology in the context of information literacy
