TITLE: ~rose Elements in the Vocabulary of Aeschylus' prest~~a: an Exploratory Study

Tl1is work is an attempt to determine, in some preliminary fe,-shion at least, the extent to which Aesch;ylus made use of the sa.me words that a prose author writing at abDut the sene time \vould have employed. The Oresteia trilogy alone is considered} due to tJ1e shortness of the time available. The usage of those authors of Greek prose previ'ous to the fourth century B.C.
