The purpose of these Rules and Regulations is to provide a uniform, comprehensive and effective guiding principles and policies for personnel administration for the University, consistent with the provisions of the the University Act. Consequently, the revised Staff Rules and Regulations as approved by the University Council embody the fundamental conditions of service and the basic rights, duties, and obligations of all categories of staff of the university.
