Since that time, he has been working with various aspects of satellite based positioning methods, including code and carrier phase positioning and has recently begun studying the area of inertial navigation. Dr. Elizabeth Cannon is a Professor of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. She has been involved with GPS research since 1984 and has published numerous papers on static and kinematic GPS positioning. She is also the author of several GPS-related software packages.
