The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to provide an objective view of the labour market situation in Slovakia and solutions through active labor market measures that serve to improve this situation. Special attention will be paid to the Košice region between 2014 and 2015, both in terms of the overall labour market situation and the use of individual active policy instruments.
