This thesis deals with the position of men and women on the position of non-medical staff, namely on the position of general nurse. The aim of this thesis is, through questionnaire survey, to compare the position of men and women working as general nurses. Then, on the basis of gained results and determined hypothesis evaluate, if men are perceived same as women, whether their low number is caused by gender prejudices and if healthcare personnel and the general public want more men on this position.
