The Learning Process and the Difficult Moments of an Occupational Track in Helping Professions

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of a lifelong learning process and on the people who work in helping professions. At first, it provides a view on specific requirements of helping profession and on the difficult moments connected with their (people's) performance. Further it describes particular forms of lifelong learning and formal and informal education that tries to find out which of these forms is evaluated as beneficial to cope with the demanding points during the performance of helping profession. By using a qualitative method of an interview with some chosen respondents, workers in helping profession, an empirical inquiry about the people's experience of the difficult moments at work and about each form of lifelong learning and education is performed. Subsequently, the thesis analyses the gained findings then draws up a conclusion and a recommendation which arose from the analysis of the interview.
