Title of the thesis: Occitania - history, language and culture The bachelor thesis named Occitania - history, language and culture first concerns the individual regions of the southern part of France, Occitania. Then it focuses on its history, Roman monuments and the Occitan language. We specify the period from its origin including historical monuments from the time of Roman dominance. The next part of the thesis concerns the teaching of the Occitan language on the state and private schools and education of the future teachers of this language. One of the chapters focuses on the grammars and dictionaries of the Occitan language and its dialects. The last part is about the Occitan culture, its customs, songs, drama, art and literature.
