Osoby se zrakovým handicapem v seniorském věku Elderly Persons with Visual Impairment The bachelor thesis deals with visual impairment. In the theoretical part I described eye disorders, special aids, the Braille writing system, the correct method of communication with a blind client, and so on. Also, I focused on re- miniscence and the reminiscence therapy, which captured my attention when I was reading a book devoted to this topic. The practical part is more devoted to seniors with visual impairment. I conducted inter- views with clients who responded most willingly and helpfully. I learnt about client satis- faction in the home and about the quality and human care they are provided. I am aware of the fact that such an approach is not very common. In our country I en- countered rather worse conditions and approach. That is why I am glad to have been able to visit a facility that is professional and meets the needs of its clients
