Kamares pottery: analysis of patterns

This bachelor thesis deals with kamares pottery with a focus on decorative motifs. The aim of this thesis is to analyze types of patterns, their decorative composition taking account into relation between types of pattern and types of pottery shapes and their relations with other kinds of art made in various materials. In the following chapters author also discusses relations with areas outside Crete based on imported ceramic finds. In the final part of the thesis the author summarizes problematic and presents conclusions
