Home Individual Education

The main goal of this thesis is to describe individual education in relation to home or otherwise educated children. Education whilst compulsory, however, does not by law mean that it must take place in a formal school. Pupils educated away from formal schools are described as, 'educated otherwise'. Their compulsory education does not take place at school, but at home, where a parent becomes teacher. For my active research I compared the legislations in both the Czech Republic and Great Britain (England). I also organised interviews with parents experienced with home education.
