23 august 1944 – există istorie dincolo de politică? (August 23, 1944 – there is history beyond politics?)

The marking of 70 years since the what was called, by the Communist regime, the "armed insurrection for liberation of Romania under the fascist yoke" consisted in the sixteenth event of the project After 25 years. Communism in Eastern Europe, developed by the Faculty of Political and Administrative Sciences from the University "Petre Andrei" of Iaşi, the Institute for the Study of Ideologies and the Polis Magazine. Organized on the day of August 23, the debate "August 23 after 70 years" has brought together historians, Political scientist and enthusiasts of these areas of research.
