Generally resilience refers to the process of positive adaptation of children and adolescents exposed to a high risk, adversity or traumatic events. Concept of resilience emphasizes the importance of risk factors and mechanisms that protect against them in the developmental age. It can be the basis for preparation of programs for prevention of social maladjustment and resocialization work with children and adolescents exhibiting behavioral problems
