Our research aims to investigate the relationship between the young elderly (65\ue2\u80\u9374 years old) and use of technologies [1], and to explore active ageing and the role played by media and ICTs in building a friendly and positively domestic environment for the elderly in their everyday life [2]. Hence the use of ICTs by the elderly takes into account two different perspectives: (1) Generational approach: the young elderly are here considered by looking at the role played by their generational identity in shaping their media use [3].
