The attachment theory, informed by neuroscience, was used as a support for an action research undertaken in high school. The assumptions link affectivity and cognition, and more specifically suggest that the positive evolution of the secure feeling representation is possible at school, and that this evolution helps to improve learning (school results and memory abilities). Workshops aiming to improve the exploratory aspect of the secure feeling (regulation of emotions, and of communication with peers and adults) enabled to validate these assumptions. As a consequence there is a better personal balance for the pupil (relation with mental health), in the school climate (social harmony). Taking into account the attachment theory in the school...
