The X-ray resonant Raman effect is a fundamental resonance phenomenon which strongly affects both the radiative and non-radiative emission in the threshold excitation region of atomic inner shells. In resonant Auger spectra a characteristic excitation energy dependence of the electron emission is observed as a direct consequence of the one-step scattering event. The effect is most pronounced for short-lived inner-shell vacancies. Results for L3-M4, 5M4, 5 Auger transition in solid 4d-metals are presented
