Abstract: Employee engagement is a positive, fulfilling, work-related state of mind that is characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption. Practitioners and academics have over the years agreed that the consequences of employee engagement are positive. There is a general belief that there is a connection between employee engagement and business results. Two structured questionnaires were used for the study and 200 employees working for a petrochemical company were targeted. The data showed a statistically significant positive relationship between employee engagement and TQM dimensions. Managers need to enable an organization to attract, develop and retain highly engaged employees to ensure a sustainable competitive advantage
