(Business Management)Abstract: An engaged workforce offers significant business outcomes for an organisation in terms of talent retention, improved productivity and safety, customer satisfaction and retention, as well as improved financial outcomes like revenue growth and total shareholder return. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors influencing the employee engagement of engineers in a South African Petrochemical organisation. As an empirical study, the research was conducted amongst engineers in one of the organisations regional operating hubs by using the survey methodology.
