INDONESIA: Berdasarkan standar pendidikan nasional dalam DEPDIKNAS, pembelajaran matematika adalah pembelajaran yang menekankan dalam proses pemerolehan pengetahuan dalam dua aspek (dalam memahami konsep dan prestasi belajar siswa). Pada kenyataannya kedua aspek tersebut belum dapat tercapai secara maksimal di sekolah, sekolah masih menekankan pencapaian pada hasil belajar saja.
