. The application of an analytical overlay thickness design method for flexible pavement structures in Indonesia has not been issued as standard yet. Nonetheless, the AASHTO\u2793 method of which its previous edition was adopted as the main reference for the SNI\u2798 on Metoda Analisis Komponen has included an alternative overlay design procedure based on analytical principles by using pavement moduli resulting from back calculation process on deflection data. One important element of this design procedure is to modelling a 2-layered system structure.
