Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of sponsorships in the videogaming industry on the buying behavior of customers, especially sponsorships in eSports (electronic Sports), in its various championships like the ESL (Electronic Sports League) and in the peer-to-peer internet streaming service called Twitch as well as in the video-sharing service YouTube.
