Incollare, collegare, saldare: metodi e tecniche di connessione per il riciclo in edilizia

The recovery of materials and elements for the reuse in architecture requires the study of suitable techniques of connection that have to be simple, efficient, durables and sometimes reversible. There are too many examples of architectures - even too much published on magazines - in which the use of reclaimed materials has resulted in a high amount of work which makes, in fact, impracticable the diffusion of the proposed solutions that remain confined to individual projects strongly symbolic but not replicable because above the market. There are several possible solutions to reuse waste materials. These solutions range from the material's consolidation (often without a proper form) to the mechanical connection. Shown below are the results of some research carried out at the Politecnico di Milano in which the study of the connection/stabilization systems is particularly interesting
