In the last decades, growing interest has been oriented towards the optimization of building components, particularly focussing on qualities such as lightness, structural behavior, thermal insulation and performances during fire. A valuable strategy for the upgrade of industrial buildings might be represented by the substitution of existing roof elements with innovative cement-based multilayered panels.
