Identidad y diferenciación entre Método y Metodología

ResumenEl presente artículo explica la distinción entre los métodos y la metodología, ya que los desafíos de la investigación científica exigen que éstos sean entendidos como herramientas útiles para permitir la comprensión y argumentación de los distintos problemas de estudio. La falta de distinción entre ambos conceptos como punto de partida en la enseñanza de las ciencias sociales, ocasiona visiones equívocas que se traducen en confusión o insuficiencia al momento de reflexionar sobre su contenido y aplicación. También se explica que el conocimiento de las ciencias sociales no es concluyente, sino que forma parte de desafíos para validar su vigencia.AbstractThe article explains the distinction between methods and methodology, since the challenges of scientific research require that they be understood as useful tools to allow understanding and argumentation of the different problems of study. The lack of distinction between the two concepts as a point of departure in the teaching of social sciences, causes wrong visions that translates into confusion or failure at the time to reflect on its content and application. It also explains that knowledge of social science is not conclusive, but that is part of challenges that must be addressed to validate its term, even more so in a time which, like the present, has no point of rest, but it is in constant transformation
