AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find possible reason of high turnover rate in a retail industry in Negeri Sembilan and to determine the possible way to reduce the rate. The research method used is qualitative study in primary data and secondary data are used. The primary data is obtained from interviews and data from the human resources department. The secondary data is acquired from past researches, journals and interviews. The participants for this research consist of staff members from the top management level, middle management level and lower management level. The findings indicate that the retail industry in Negeri Sembilan has failed to deliver well on the job scope to their new employees
