Background: Preeclampsia and eclampsia is a complication in pregnancies and deliveries which increased mother and fetal morbidity and motality rate. The high incidence and large amount of risk factors caused poor prognostic. Early diagnosis and treatment is very important to be done mother and fetal mortality rate. The purpose of this research was to investigate epidemiology description of preeclampsia/eclampsia in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta from 2007–2009 years.
