International audienceThis contribution aims at questioning the supplies, mediations & uses of the digital book under constraint, starting from the development of the platform of digital books in the libraries of Grenoble. If the digital book is known to be immaterial, introducing it into the catalogues of libraries demands operations that are inscribed in sociotechnical processes, organisations, know-how or also uses that are far from being evanescent. The surveys that were undertaken show that the loans are still being implemented and that people equally borrow printed and digital books.
